Nice first look, but could you please use OneNote when doing the full
review? I really have no interest in a closed note taking solution when
Microsoft already has one that syncs across all my devices and desktop. And
write more than one sentence, that’s hardly long enough to get an idea on
how it responds in actual note taking. Most people who would get *this*
tablet are probably interested in note taking / drawing since there are
already cheaper Windows tablets that are simpler consumption devices. I
would think students, artists and business people are the target market for
this tablet. I hope the review looks at it from that perspective instead of
    a general consumer, Netflix watcher.

+Windows Central This Windows 8.1 Tablets will be updated to Windows
10??… I tried to install the Technical Preview on mine but it failed due
“the system I’m using is compressed”… Do you know about this problem and
    how to solve it?

Wow. Its pretty much the same one I had last year just with a pen. I had to
upgrade tho to a tablet that wasn’t atom due to my classwork online need
    more processing performance and power.

I know this is an unboxing and hands-on but you’ve pretty much sold me on
the Encore 2 Write. Now I just have to wait for the device to be released
    in Australia.

Y’all wasted 98% of the video on stuff nobody cares about or already know.
Please focus more on the pen, how does the tip feel? Does it lagg or live
up to the 2048 levels of pressures? Try it on different ark programs, etc
etc? Without the pen, these atom based windows tablets are no different
than any other atom based windows tablets that came with 32 bit windows and
restricted to 2gig of ram. One doesn’t need this device in order to take
notes, you can do that with any tablets with a chunky pen and cheap free

you guys should get a new, and better camera. I think the video looks

    Hi Windows Central,
I did some looking around on the internet and couldn’t find a UK price for
it. Is it not released in the UK yet?

That screen should be 3:2 aspect ratio its just better like the Surface.

Great video. Thanks! Can you let me know if you can import PDFs into
TruNote for PDF annotation? I haven’t been able to find the answer to this

Hope OEM adapt SP3’s 3:2 Aspect Ratio, or 4:3 ratio.
16:9 is just not good in portrait mode, especially OEM usually design them
with smaller bezel in width, make it not comfortable to hold in portrait

Is office already installed or can i install it on another computer?

Does the pen have a good amount of friction with the screen? As a hobby
artist, it’s an important tactile feedback for me when drawing.
