    *LG G Pad 8.3 review*
    Full review:

Following a two-year hiatus, LG launched a new tablet this fall, the G Pad
8.3, an aluminum-clad mid-sized device that LG hopes will stand out in a
    sea of competing offers.

Is the LG G Pad 8.3 worthy of a place on your shopping list this holiday
season? What are the core strengths and weaknesses of LG’s shiny new
device? We take a look at all the things that matter in our LG G Pad 8.3

In SIngapore it’s cheaper than even the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8.0. But I’m
holding my money and see if the price drops after LG’s new tablets are

    Should I buy this for £190 or just buy a 16GB 2013 Nexus 7 for £155? Screen
size doesn’t faze me and I will be using it for mostly, gaming, social
    media and netflix consumption

I tried both iPad Mini Retina and LG G Pad and I chose G Pad even though
I’m using an iPhone 5. Paired to my iPhone (HotSpot) and I can use it
anywhere including it’s built-in navigation with on-board GPS. It’s fast
and responsive, has a good battery life, beautiful FHD IPS screen, better
integration with apps (Open with…), can print on AirPrint printers (works
with my Canon MG6320) and many other things like WiFi Storage that are not
available on iPad forced me to buy this one. Also I had Samsung Galaxy Note
8 and it was not working with my Canon printer on OS API level, had worse
display, worse battery life, was not as fast.

LG puts out really nice products but they really suck when it comes to
    software updates.

Hello, Thanks for the good review. Can you confirm if the screen is too
dark? one site mentioned that it is very dark and its brightest setting is
almost the darkest of galaxy tab 8.0.

  • Peter Marjavara 3 years ago

Looks pretty laggy due to bloatware… You could see it when he went from

Why should it “Obviously work best with the G2” ??? It makes NO sense and i
dont think its true. Its just the typical “ohh its the same brand so i bet
they work better together” stupid mind set… The bord in a g2 might come
from samsung or someone else. There is no reason to believe it should work
better with the G2 than any other phone. it would be a very stupid move by
LG is they made it work less well with a whole bunch of phones exept the

Good review. I really like the bluetooth link for the cellphone and hope
every cellphone and tablet maker starts using/stealing the idea. The knock
feature is also a little easier than swiping. Keep up the great reviews.
