Or pay $14 more …..the cost of 2 trips to McDonalds….and get rid of the
offers. As the reviewer mentioned, I like the offers, because some of them
are not even asking for money. They’re completely free downloads. I imagine
if Google started offering weekly freebies to the Nexus, fanboys would
    praise their innovation.

  • Rich Brown 2 years ago

I’m amazed at how furious Google fanboys are that Amazon has trumped the
specs on the Nexus 7. Get ready to become more furious: In 3 weeks, the
8.9″ edition will offer a screen that leaves even Apple’s Retina display
lacking. It will be the undisputed champ among tablets in price, screen,
processor, and sound. And the worst that the Google fanboys can say is that
there are 4 or 5 apps that you’ll have to download from instead
    of Amazon’s store.

    Nexus 7 this

But once you go to 1mobile dottcomm and download their app store, combine
it with Amazon’s, there is almost no difference in the availability of
    apps. It’s a no-brainer.

I’ve got a better idea, a new Nexus 7 with an Amazon app.

alextam24 ignorantly said “failed tablet.” In what universe? Even earlier
iterations of the Fire have been the bestselling Android tablets on U.S.
soil. One poll said that the “most desired” Android tablet is a Fire. Now
the Fire will have the best screen, processor, and speakers.

If you are an avid Kindle user and Amazon Prime member, then no. The HDX
will give you a faster processor and a better screen.
