I was just thinking about this topic yesterday night, because Amazon is
offering Kindle Fire HDX 7 ” (16GB) for 99 euros during this Black
Monday’sale in Germany, which is quite an attractive deal. I am thinking
using the tablet mainly as a E-reader for PDFs, and partly for videos, etc.
But I am not sure about the viewing experiences of PDFs on this tablet.
Then I found your videos, that is great!

    Thx a lot.

First of all, great channel! Reading PDFs was the main reason i got my
first kindle fire HD and for me it is the most important fuction of a
tablet (because I keep alot of textbooks on it).
However, after a while, my kindle fire HD lost some battery capacity so I
    switched to Ipad air.
One thing that I found very disturbing on the Ipad Air ( and same applies
to Mini) is the fact that its screen is not really pushed all the way to
the surface of the tablet. I personally found that this empty space between
the top glas and the actual display (where the letters are generated)
produces extra reflection and somehow, because you have to look through the
top glass to reach the actuall display, it makes it hard for the eyes after
a while of reading. Wheres on the kindle, the letters are all the way on
the surface, almost as if they could be touched.
I never heard anyone actually commenting on this, but for me this is of
crucial difference when it comes to reading.
That is why I am going back to kindle fire HDX tomorrow :)

How do I download a PDF in the first place? Does it need a special app or
do I just do it from the browser on Kindle?
